Was man wissen sollte... / What you should know...

-------------

At the end of the 1950s, people in Germany were increasingly concerned with the possibility of using nuclear energy to generate electricity. This leads to the legal basis being created in January 1960 to be able to use nuclear power plants commercially. In June 1961, the first German nuclear power plant went online. Wilesco was a bit ahead of its time and offered the R200 as early as 1960. This model was supposed to represent a nuclear power plant and make it clear that power is also generated in this by heat. Below you will find the original description by Wilesco from 1960.
