Nach langer Zeit endlich mal wieder eine Sonder-Walze!
After quite some time finally a special roller again!
Ich habe dann doch mal wieder eine spezielle Walze gefunden. Diese hat vorne einen besonderen Aufkleber und erschien auf den ersten Blick auch in einer speziellen Farbe lackiert zu sein.

I found a special roller again. This has a special sticker on the front and appeared to be painted in a special color at first glance.
Der Aufkleber an der Front ist sehr schlicht gehalten. Er weißt auf den amerikanischen Chemie-Konzern GRACE hin.

The sticker on the front is very simple. He points to the American chemicals group GRACE.
Anhand des originalen Wilesco-Aufklebers lässt sich das Baujahr der Walze sehr bestimmen. Der Aufkleber mit dem alten TÜV-Logo wurde zwischen 1975 und 1979 verwendet.

Based on the original Wilesco sticker, the year of construction of the roller can be very determined. The sticker with the old TÜV logo was used between 1975 and 1979.
Als ich die Bilder der Dampfwalze zum ersten Mal sh, dachte ich an eine Sonderlackierung. Der Farbton sah nicht wie das originale Grün aus.

When I saw the images of the steamroller for the first time, I thought of a special paint job. The color did not look like the original green.
Als ich die Walze dann aber in den Händen hielt stellte sich heraus, dass das originale Grün sehr gleichmäßig verblasst ist. An der Unterseite sieht man gut den Übergang vom originalen Farbton zum aktuellen blassen Grün-Blau.

But when I held the roller in my hands it turned out that the original green had faded very evenly. At the bottom you can see well the transition from the original color to the current pale green-blue.
Interessant ist jedoch, dass das Hinterteil des Kesselhauses überhaupt nicht verblasst ist. Dieses hat trennscharf noch den originalen Grünton. Ob dieses Teil damals vor dem vernieten anders behandelt wurde?

It is interesting, however, that the rear part of the boiler house has not faded at all. This has still sharp the original green tone. Was this part treated differently before it was riveted?
