Ich habe eine D6 in der Sonder-Edition "BEWAG" gefunden.
I found a D6 as special versiion "BEWAG".
Die D6 "BEWAG" ist eine spezielle Ausführung, welche irgendwann zwischen 2000 und 2003 als Präsent im Rahmen des Wettbewerbes "Jugend forscht verliehen wurde.

The D6 "BEWAG" is a special version of an original D5. It was given as a present within the german contest "Jugend forscht" some time between 2000 and 2003. This contest is where children challenge each other by presenting first results out of their researches.
Natürlich ist das Farbschema besonders. Darüber hinaus ist diese Ausführung mit glattem Kesselhaus ausgeführt, d.h. es gibt kein Steinmuster. Dieses war bislang nur bei der D8 Harlekin gegeben.

Of course the color-scheme shows up as very different. But more different to a normal D5 is the boiler-house: it is without brick-pattern. So far this was only with the D8 "Harlekin".
Meine D6 "BEWAG" konnte ich in kompletten Neuzustand bekommen: noch nie angeheizt und mit sämtlichem Zubehör inkl. der originalen Verpackung. Die Verpackung zeigt eines der Kraftwerke der BEWAG (Berliner Elektrizitätswerke AG).

My D6 "BEWAG" showed up in mint condition: never fired up, with all accessories and including the original box. This one shows one of the power-plants of BEWAG, which is a supplier of electrical power in Berlin.
Die BEWAG betreibt die Firmen-Patenschaft für den Regional-Wettbewerb Berlin Süd von "Jugend forscht" in Berlin schon seit dem Jahr 2000. Der Slogan "Die Mitte macht Dampf" beruht darauf, dass das größte Heizkraftwerk Berlins die Bezeichnung "Berlin-Mitte" trägt.

The company BEWAG is supporting the contest "Jugend forscht" on regional basis in Berlin-South with a continous sponsorship already since the year 2000. The slogan on the engine "Die Mitte macht Dampf" ("the center steams up") is based on the name of BEWAG's largest power plant in berlin, which is called "Berlin-Mitte" ("Berlin center").
